Wesolok F | |
Alumina floccing and bonding system for refractory fibers
Wesolok F is a complete floccing and bonding system for aluminosilicate and alumina fibers recommended for use when contact with molten metal occurs. It contains cationic starch and a blend of high alumina binders that gives hardness and strength equivalent to colloidal silica/starch systems, but with reduced shrinkage and cristobalite formation at high use temperatures (2300-3000ºF).
|
|
Easier Forming of Alumina Fiber Shapes - |
A complete alumina bonding systems that eliminates steps and replaces less effective colloidal silica-starch systems. |
Higher Temperature Capability - | This alumina based system is highly effective for continuous use to 3000°F. |
Better Results with Lower Quality Fibers - | Alumina coats lower quality fibers thereby maintaining their integrity at high temperatures. This reduces fluxing and shrinkage, and improves the properties of bonded shapes. |
No Cristobalite - | Completely cristobalite free at use temperature, eliminating a common source of thermal shrinkage and health-related concerns. |
